Growing up in Miami FL, I was introduced to Industrial Design at the young age of 15. I immediately fell in love and pursued it through my undergraduate degree in the DAAP program at the University of Cincinnati.

Through my education, I interned at companies such as Asics, Specialized Bicycles, and Puma. It was, and still is, extremely important to me to work for companies that share my excitement for being outside, pushing our bodies to their full potential, and wanting to propel the boundaries of design forward with fervor.

Having found much of what I was looking for in the Sporting Goods, Outdoor, Recreation and Footwear industry it felt like a natural progression to pursue my Masters in Textiles. The marriage between being an Industrial Designer and a Textile Designer is a beautiful one. At the Rhode Island School of Design I was able to expand my skillset and took on the nuances of Industrial Knitting, Digital Embroidery, and Color Manipulation/Theory. My goal was to be able to dive deep in the world of soft-goods and have the ability to push a product past it’s obvious limitations.
